Julia Whippo is the Co-Founder & CEO of Moneyball.ai, which has built the world’s first FINRA- and SEC-compliant AI “employee” for private capital markets. Moneyball’s AI investment banker automates deal distribution, capital introductions, investor coverage, and the operational follow-ups required to close transactions—compressing processes that typically take 4–8 weeks into seconds.
With a background spanning private capital placement, fintech, AI, and applied mathematics, Julia has syndicated and placed over $100M in early-stage capital globally. She brings rare, firsthand insight into how private capital actually moves—and where it breaks—combining deep domain expertise with the technical vision to scale relationship-driven workflows responsibly.
After beginning her career at Goldman Sachs, Julia left Wall Street to build businesses in under-competitive markets across South America, from founding and operating companies in nightlife and agriculture to designing fintech platforms that expanded access to self-directed retirement investing. She later founded and exited an international bank in Puerto Rico, working closely with high-net-worth individuals and family offices to manage and grow private wealth within regulated environments.
Through these experiences, Julia saw how manual workflows, investor fatigue, and limited human bandwidth constrain deal volume—even for the most capable intermediaries. She founded Moneyball.ai to solve this bottleneck by creating an AI investment banker that behaves like a high-performing associate: remembering investors, personalizing outreach, following up relentlessly (without spamming), and scaling trust-based engagement across thousands of relationships.
Julia holds a B.S. in Applied Mathematics, a Quantitative Finance Certificate, and a minor in Economics from the University of Colorado Boulder, where she was awarded Graduating Senior of the Year in Applied Mathematics.
