Janelle specializes in providing employment counsel to public and private entities in various industries, including education, healthcare, childcare, retail, and insurance. Her experience ranges from serving as outside general counsel for day-to-day operations and human resource support for items, such as disability accommodations, leaves of absence, harassment, policy development, training, discipline and internal investigations to providing litigation counseling and defense in connection with claimed discrimination, harassment, reductions in force, restrictive covenants, wage and hour disputes, and violations of the New Jersey Conscientious Employee Protection Act (CEPA). Janelle represents clients in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies, including the EEOC and the New Jersey Department of Labor. Additionally, Janelle offers solutions for employment contract disputes, questions of regulatory compliance, and standards for implementing and enforcing employment policies. Highly regarded for her interactive training presentations on current employment law topics, Janelle uses her teaching background to engage participants and is a frequent speaker at conferences and industry events.
